Historic Day in Canes Shutout of USC Aiken

A penalty kick from freshman Jamie Kiep in the 83rd minute led Georgia Southwestern to the program's first-ever Peach Belt Conference victory in a 1-0 decision over USC Aiken on Saturday afternoon at Hurricane Field.

Lady Canes and USC Aiken Play to 1-1 Tie

The Lady Hurricanes battled USC Aiken to a 1-1 tie on Saturday afternoon in Peach Belt Conference play at Hurricane Field. Sophomore Allie Cooper rifled a shot through the USCA defense in the 68th minute for her first collegiate goal.

USC Aiken went home winless against the Hurricanes on Saturday afternoon. The women earned the program's first point in the Peach Belt Conference standings in two years with a 1-1 tie and the men recorded the first GSW men's soccer PBC win, 1-0.
