AMERICUS, Ga. - The Georgia Southwestern State University Athletics Department and adidas have agreed to an exclusive multi-year partnership in which the German multinational company will be the official athletic footwear, apparel and accessory brand of the Hurricanes.
"We are excited to be partnering with adidas," Georgia Southwestern athletic director Mike Leeder said. "This is the first time in school history that all of our athletic programs have been included in a single, all-encompassing apparel agreement. It will enable us to further enhance the student-athlete experience, while at the same time develop our GSW Athletics brand in a more consistent and significant way."
The utilization of a single vendor for all programs will ensure consistency in image branding, particularly uniform and apparel colors and design elements, throughout the athletics department and across campus.
"I am very excited, after working with GSW for three years, to finally have the Hurricanes as an all-sport partner," said Rohn Mulkey, Georgia/South Carolina/North Carolina territory manager for adidas team sales. "It is great to work with an institution with such a rich history in athletics."
In the coming months, adidas gear, including sideline apparel, polo shirts, hats and performance apparel will be available at the GSW Bookstore as well as in the Griffin Bell Golf Course Pro Shop.

Identified by its famous three-stripe logo, adidas is a global designer, developer and marketer of athletic footwear, apparel and accessories with the mission to make all athletes better.
