Pride in Your Plate

Put your GSW Hurricane pride on display by joining our campaign to create an official State of Georgia GSW license plate.  Help us cover the state roadways with Georgia Southwestern spirit and the University's logo. Any Georgia-resident or GSW fan can participate.

We need at least 500 applications by July 31, 2010!

The State of Georgia requires at least 500 applications to manufacture the Georgia Southwestern State University plate in 2011. All that is required at the time of application is the $25 manufacturing fee. When you receive your new plate in 2011, you will pay a $25 special tag fee and a $20 annual registration fee, in addition to your regular ad valorem taxes.

All applications MUST be received by July 31 of 2010 to be counted in the 500 required minimum. Tags applied for in 2010 will be available in 2011.

Apply for your tag today by visiting your local tag office or click the MV-9C form link below to fill it out, print and send it with your $25 check.
