Nominations now being accepted for GSW Hall of Fame
Nominations for the GSW Hurricane Hall of Fame "Class of 2010" are now being accepted online.
The Georgia Southwestern State University Hurricane Hall of Fame
was created as a way to honor those individuals who were
exceptional student-athletes during their tenure as Hurricanes at
GSW, or have been loyal and dedicated friends or administrators in
the GSW Athletic Department.
In order to be eligible to be a member of the Hurricane Hall of
Fame a person must meet the following criteria:
STUDENT-ATHLETE
1. Must be a graduate of Georgia Southwestern State
University.
2. Must have attended GSW no less than two full years.
3. Must have displayed a level of excellence in athletics at
GSW and/or made notable achievements in professional life after
graduation from GSW.
4. Eligible for induction five years after graduation.
COACH /STAFF MEMBER
1. Any former GSW Athletics who served at GSW a minimum of ten
years is eligible.
2. Must have made significant contribution to the growth of Georgia
Southwestern State University Athletics.
FRIEND/SUPPORTER OF GSW ATHLETICS
1. Must have made significant contribution(s) to Georgia
Southwestern State University Athletics.

GSW Hall of Fame weekend will be October 1-2, 2010. The induction banquet will take place Friday evening and the HOF golf tournament returns on Saturday. More information, including event times and reservation procedures, will be released soon.
