The Georgia Southwestern baseball team placed three players on the nine-man Peach Belt Conference All-Tournament team this past weekend.
Second baseman Beau Parker, shortstop Kevin Carroll and Game 2 starting pitcher Jody Sellars received the honors.
Parker, a sophomore from Bainbridge, hit .700 (7-for-10) with a triple, scored seven runs, had three runs batted in, walked twice and stole three bases over the Hurricanes’ three games in the tournament.
Carroll, a senior from Blackwood, N.J., capped off his collegiate career by going 7-for-13 (.538), driving in six runs, scoring four times, while picking up a walk and a stolen base.
Sellars, a junior from Americus, threw 7.2 innings against Flagler in the ‘Canes second game of the tourney, allowed two runs and three walks while striking out three batters to earn the win in the semifinal on Sunday afternoon.
