GSW Baseball Set to Host Select and Youth Camps

AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern baseball team will be hosting two select camps and one youth camp in December 2018 and January 2019 for players who plan on taking their game to the next level. GSW coaching staff will teach the skills necessary to reach the collegiate playing level. As a player, you will have the opportunity to meet the coaching staff one-on-one and be evaluated by the camp staff.

Select Camp II will be hosted on December 8 and Select Camp III will be hosted on January 20, 2019. Each camp has a registration fee of $150 with check in beginning at 8:15 a.m. and the camp ending around 5 p.m.

Select Camps are one day camps that feature instruction and a showcase and/or prostyle workout in which high school and junior college players can display their talents. Players will receive the opportunity to meet and interact with GSW coaching staff, instruction about hitting, defense and pitching, information about strength and conditioning, information about both recruiting and academics and an evaluation will be available upon request.

The Youth Camp will be hosted on January 21, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for players ages 5-12. The camp has a registration fee of $50 and will give the young players an opportunity to expand their baseball skills and benefit from a unique, competitive and challenging atmosphere; while learning from GSW coaches and players.

All campers are required to bring all necessary baseball equipment such as: bat, gloves, cleats, tennis shoes and catcher's gear (if needed). All GSW Baseball Camps are open to any and all applicants and are limited only by the number of slots available per camp and the age, grade level and/or the gender of the participant.
