Canes Win Three Straight

Once again, the Canes came into the Storm Dome with their game faces on. They managed to bag another victory, in what began as a tightly contested game. The Canes fought it out, winning over Florida Memorial by a score of 89-77.

Anthony Sargent led the way with 26 points for the night. Aaron Wyatt chipped in 17 points, and Frederick Jackson was just one rebound shy of a double-double, with 20 points and 9 rebounds for the Hurricanes.

Florida Memorial's Mario Stangnaro and Andre Beauford scored 21 points each.

The GSW Hurricanes extend their winning record to 3-0, and ride high into the Thanksgiving holiday. Next week they host Albany State, on Monday at 7:30 pm, followed by their conference opener versus Columbus State, on Wednesday at 7:30 pm, at the Storm Dome.

Also don't miss the Lady Hurricanes, as they host the University of West Georgia, on Tuesday night at 5:30 pm.
