Time To Go Campin'

AMERICUS – Basketball season may be officially over, but there are still plenty of hoops to be played. If you love basketball, then there is no reason to miss the Georgia Southwestern Basketball Camp. With the Georgia Southwestern Hurricanes on hand to teach campers, the camp will give boys and girls ages 6-14 the ultimate basketball experience in Southwestern Georgia.

"The Georgia Southwestern Basketball Camp is a great chance to not only have fun and play basketball, but it's an even better chance to improve your skills with the help of our players," said head men's basketball coach Mike Leeder.

With members of GSW basketball as camp counselors, campers will learn the fundamentals of basketball while having fun with three-point shooting competitions, dunk contests and other games. Campers will also get shirts, a chance to swim in the campus pool and a great photo to remember camp by.
