Men’s Basketball Head Coach Mike Leeder added Curran Keough to the program’s staff in August 2011. Keough will serve as an assistant coach alongside current assistant Stephen Cox on the Hurricane’s bench for the 2011-2012 season.

“I’m grateful for the tremendous opportunity to join the Hurricane staff here, and I look forward to helping this team prepare for another season in the Peach Belt Conference,” Keough said.

Keough spent the previous season in Salt Lake City working with the Utah Flash of the NBA Developmental League. He was the team’s basketball operations manager and was also responsible for running the Flash’s basketball clinics.

After finishing the season with the Flash, Keough spent the summer working for several prominent NCAA basketball camps. They included the Sooner Basketball Camp under Oklahoma Head Coach Lon Kruger and the UNLV Basketball camp under Coach Dave Rice.

Keough is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island (’10) where he majored in Business Marketing. The Exeter, Rhode Island-native is the son of Raymond and Lori Keough and has a younger sister Meghan.
