Burris, Reynolds receive tourney honors

Georgia Southwestern women's basketball players Brandi Burris and Brittany Reynolds were named to the All-Sleep Inn Classic team on Monday afternoon.

Burris tallied 36 points while shooting 63.6 percent from the floor (14-of-22) over the two-day tournament at Saint Leo University. She pulled down 15 rebounds, dished three assists and had four steals.

Reynolds scored 30 points and grabbed 20 rebounds over the two games. Friday night, she recorded her eighth career double-double and Saturday was a rebound away from her ninth. She blocked five shots, dished five assists and had seven steals.

The Lady Hurricanes return home for a game against Truett-McConnell tomorrow at 5:30 p.m.
