Soccer at North Georgia moved up to Tuesday
Due to another day of heavy rain and thunderstorms expected on
Wednesday afternoon in Dahlonega, GSW's soccer doubleheader
at North Georgia has been moved up a day and will be
played Tuesday afternoon at the Soccer Complex.
The women will kick things off at 1:00 p.m. as they play one of six
games hosted around the conference to raise money and awareness for
Breast Cancer. The Hurricanes and Lady Saints will battle with pink
Select soccer balls as October is National Breast Cancer Awareness
Month.
At 3:30 p.m., the men will take to the field for an all-important
Peach Belt Conference game as the Saints and Hurricanes battle for
a playoff spot in the upcoming PBC Tournament. Both teams will be
looking for their first league victory of the season as North
Georgia and Georgia Southwestern will tangle for the eighth time in
school history.
Single-game tickets are available at the gate for adults ($5) and
students ($3).
