Soccer at North Georgia moved up to Tuesday

Due to another day of heavy rain and thunderstorms expected on Wednesday afternoon in Dahlonega, GSW's soccer doubleheader at North Georgia has been moved up a day and will be played Tuesday afternoon at the Soccer Complex.

The women will kick things off at 1:00 p.m. as they play one of six games hosted around the conference to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer. The Hurricanes and Lady Saints will battle with pink Select soccer balls as October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

At 3:30 p.m., the men will take to the field for an all-important Peach Belt Conference game as the Saints and Hurricanes battle for a playoff spot in the upcoming PBC Tournament. Both teams will be looking for their first league victory of the season as North Georgia and Georgia Southwestern will tangle for the eighth time in school history.

Single-game tickets are available at the gate for adults ($5) and students ($3).

Both matches will have live stats broadcasted online.  Click here to be directed to North Georgia's live stat link.
