Crawford Scores in Lady Canes Season-Opening Loss to Emmanuel

AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern State University women's soccer team opened the 2017 season with a 2-1 defeat against Emmanuel College Wednesday night in front of 136 at Hurricane Field.

The Lady Canes (0-1-0) gave up two first half goals to the Lions before getting on the board in the 67th minute and having several chances at an equalizer, but were unable to convert opportunities in front of the goal.
