FMU tennis sweeps Hurricanes on windy day
FLORENCE, SC - The nationally ranked Francis Marion University men's and women's tennis teams swept Georgia Southwestern State University by identical 9-0 scores, Friday afternoon (April 3) in Peach Belt Conference action.
The 11th-ranked Patriot men improved to 13-4 overall and 3-4 in the Peach Belt, while GSW dropped to 4-11 and 0-6. The eighth-ranked Patriot women (14-3, 7-2) lost only three games while blowing past the Lady Hurricanes (3-14, 0-7).
Both GSW squads will host North Georgia on Tuesday at 2 p.m.

The Georgia Southwestern women's tennis team lost 8-1 at UNC Pembroke on Saturday morning.
GSW (3-15 overall, 0-8 Peach Belt) earned a win at No. 2 doubles; where Monica Osam and Ashley Waters have won two of their last three matches.
