Lady Canes Finish 8th at Pre-Conference Meet
MILLEDGEVILLE, GA - The Georgia Southwestern State University women's cross country team finished tied for eighth at the Georgia College Pre-Conference Meet hosted by Georgia College & State University on Saturday morning.
Senior Ambur Humphrey led the Lady ‘Canes as she finished 49th with a time of 22:50 for the 5,000-meter race. Other Hurricane finishers were freshman Cameron Rigsby in 58th position (23:31), freshman Paige Peavy in 67th (25:39), senior Stevi Korczyk in 71st (26:34) and junior Danielle Jordan in 76th (29:11).
The Lady Canes will run in the Darton College Invitational on Saturday, September 20 at 10:00 a.m. in Albany.
