AIKEN, S.C. - The Georgia Southwestern women's soccer team had a rough day on the road against USC Aiken.
The Hurricanes held the score null null for the first 44 minutes of play. With a minute left in the half Jenna Beauregard found the back of the net for the Pacers.
The Pacers kept working in the second half with scores by Hannah Allison in the 46th and 55th minute. The next goal for the Pacers was by Cyndie McGuiness in the 58th minute. Deirdre Ball was the last Pacer to score in the 67th minute.
USC Aiken had 14 shots on goal compared to GSW's 1. Goalkeepers Vanna Lucke and Elyse Gowen totaled nine saves for the day.
The Lady Hurricanes will be back in action on Wednesday when they host 17th-ranked Columbus State at 3 p.m.
