BEAUFORT, S.C. — The No. 10-ranked Georgia Southwestern men's golf team earned another impressive team finish this week, placing second at the Fripp Island to Bermuda Invite hosted at Fripp Island Ocean Point Golf Club.
The Hurricanes finished at 7-under par (857) after rounds of 282–283–292, trailing only No. 2 Lee University, which captured the tournament title at 25-under (839).
The two-day event, held October 20-21, featured a strong national field that included eight teams currently ranked inside the NCAA Division II top 15, and the individual champion — Drew Zielinski of Lee — earned a start in the PGA TOUR Butterfield Bermuda Championship next month.

Player Highlights
Oscar Hammar – T5 (67–69–77, –3)
Hammar continued his strong fall form, firing back-to-back sub-70 rounds to open play and finishing tied for fifth overall in a field of 75 golfers. He ranked among the leaders in Par 4 scoring (3.97, –1) and recorded 10 birdies over the first two rounds along with an eagle in his opening round. His top-five finish marked his second top-10 of the season and extended his streak of rounds of even par or better to five straight before the final day.
Thanaphon Suwannapratheep – T19 (71–74–72, +1)
Suwannapratheep delivered a steady week highlighted by an even-par 72 in Tuesday's final round. The senior was sharp on the front nine across all three days and finished tied with the tournament champion as leaders in Par 4 performance (3.83, -5).
Sam Brown – T24 (76–71–71, +2)
Brown rebounded from a tough opening round to post back-to-back under-par stretches in rounds two and three. The junior played his final 27 holes in 3-under par, showing poise and precision on approach play. His finish at 218 marked his lowest 54-hole total of the season.
Jordan Jones – T24 (75–69–74, +2)
Jones flashed his scoring ability with a strong second round that featured three birdies and a closing eagle on the back nine. He played the Par 5s at 4.58 (-5) for the week, scored a pair of eagles and finished as one of GSW's top contributors for the third straight tournament.
Stefan Rojas – T24 (69–74–75, +2)
Rojas opened the week with a smooth 69, his first round in the 60s this season, and stayed in contention through 36 holes. He ranked among the tournament leaders in total pars (36) and continues to be a steady fixture in the middle of the Hurricanes lineup.
