COCHRAN, Ga. – Georgia Southwestern and Middle Georgia State played to a 1-1 draw in a Peach Belt Conference women's soccer match on Saturday afternoon at Nesmith Field.
Middle Georgia went ahead in the 40th minute on a goal from Madison Giron. Georgia Southwestern answered early in the second half when
Siaomee Bagnost scored in the 51st minute off an assist from
Ella Moody.
The Lady Hurricanes outshot the Knights 15-4 and held an 11-0 advantage in corner kicks during the second half but were unable to find a game-winner.
Alana Beddow recorded one save in goal for GSW.
